K201 – Guided Sweater with Myrna
Have you always wanted to knit a sweater, but you’re scared to try? If you’ve got a few knitting projects under your belt, but you’ve been apprehensive about “sweatering,” this is the perfect class for you! Myrna designed this class with the nervous sweater knitter in mind. You pick the pattern, at your comfort level, and Myrna will be there to assist you every step of the way. A top down raglan? Contiguous sleeve? Round yoke? Simple colourwork, cables, or lace? The choice is yours! We will meet on Saturdays every few weeks, for a total of 5, two hour sessions (giving you lots of project time in between sessions) to knit, work on problems, and learn what you need to know to successfully complete your project.
Pattern, yarn, needles, and any other items described in your chosen pattern. You will also need a completed gauge swatch of at least 10 cm (4 inches) square, washed and blocked for your first class. Be sure to measure and record your swatch before blocking!
