Friday Finished Object

Rose crocheted this sweet blanket using approx. 250 grams of Sirdar “Replay” and the linen stitch, and her own personal pattern. She finished it off with the bobble shell edging stitch.

Weaving!

These are Julie’s beginning pieces of weaving on her new Ashford SampleIt loom. The black is three colours of wool which trick the eye to look like houndstooth from afar, and the other is rainbow colours of cotton. Thanks for letting us show them off, Julie, they are lovely!

Happy Friday!

Check out Jana’s beautiful “Scottish Hills” sweater! The pattern is from Munro Sisters 3 and she knitted it with Jamieson & Smith “2 Ply Jumper Weight” yarn.

A sweater in the wild!

This is an action shot of Terri’s Night Shades sweater by DROPS design, which she knitted in DROPS Nepal. Terri said ” The sweater was so warm I had to tie my jacket around me & I was wearing a sleeveless t-shirt under the sweater.” We can call that Canadian winter certified! PS – Terri is the ultra …

And he weaves too!

We have another Hunter object of amazingness for you! Hunter got himself a 28 inch Knitter’s Loom and stand, and here we are… a gorgeous project woven with fingering weight yarn. All dyed by Hunter except the pink. The extra wow factor comes from using a multicoloured warp.

Birds of a Feather

It’s been a while since we had a Marilynn project for our Friday Finished Object. We’re remedying that this week, with her Birds of a Feather shawl! (The pattern is by Andrea Mowry, and you can find it on Ravelry right here: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/birds-of-a-feather-14) Marilynn’s is knitted with DROPS Kid-Silk Long Print Mohair. So pretty, Marilynn!!
