This is the most “business as unusual” announcement we have ever had the pleasure of making; and we dearly hope that you can share our cautious optimism that things will return to ‘normal’, while understanding that we have to start somewhere. Here is our version of stage 1.
While carefully adhering to governmental guidelines as they morph, The Loop will begin to allow daily walk-in customers beginning today, May 14th, at noon and continuing until 4pm. We will continue to do curb-side pickup during our regular hours of 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, Friday through Tuesday, and 10:00 am – 8:00 pm, Wednesday and Thursday. We encourage you to choose the curb-side pickup option if at all possible. We are happy to offer our vulnerable customers a private shopping opportunity by appointment (Please call us at 403-457-3020 to book.)
At this time we are limiting visitors to a maximum of 3. If you are uncomfortable with that many people in the store, please feel free to sit in our impromptu waiting area out front. Temporarily, we are asking non-shoppers and non-critical companions to be seated outside or in your vehicle. We are also asking that you leave your personal shopping bags in your vehicle at this time. We will accept cash but we’re asking you to consider paying with a card, if possible.
While in the store, we have provided a hand sanitizing station that we are asking you to use when you enter. We insist that you respect a minimum distance of 2 meters at all times while in the store; and that in fact, if you are in any way ill, or exhibit any symptoms related to COVID 19 that you not enter the store at all. Several of our employees fall within the category of vulnerable, and we are asking that you try curb-side pickup if you have even the slightest concern for their health or your own. We will be wearing a mask, and hope that you do too. We are cleaning and sanitizing often in accordance with governmental guidelines.
At this time we have suspended our physical knit nights, but will continue to have Zoom knit nights from 5 to 8, on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We really look forward to this period of our lives coming to a halt, but.. one step at a time. Unfortunately we are not able to share our winding equipment, or serve you coffee.
We will (finally, a will) be accepting returns on products accompanied by a receipt, as long as the 30 day period has not expired. We will hold the returned goods for twice the government’s minimum requirements.
In closing, we would like to thank you again for your patience and your consideration. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we love you with all of our hearts. Thank you for every visit, every phone call, every purchase. We can’t wait to see your faces.
Annie, Correna, Marilynn
