We want to touch base today to keep you up to date on The Loop’s action plan during these initial stages of COVID-19 in Calgary.
We have been keeping on top of any information and requests from Alberta Health Services. At this moment, we are in good shape, and we are running the business and teaching classes as usual. We have implemented the following measures:
- Employees have been advised not to come to work if they are sick, have any symptoms that may be related to COVID-19, or have been exposed in any way.
- Classes are, as always, limited to 6 people. We have asked attendees not to come to classes if they have had any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed.
- Both knit nights will continue to run until further notice.
- Each morning, and periodically through the day, we are disinfecting table tops, glass surfaces, our debit machine, the keyboard, light switches, door knobs etc. We will disinfect the class table after every class. We have asked our staff to use hand sanitizer, which is also available for customer use.
We would like to ask you to reconsider coming to the store if you are ill. That said, we know that working with yarn is something we all love to do, and we don’t want you to be without it! Please feel free to call us at (403) 457-3020; we are happy to accept phone orders. We can mail your purchase to you, send it via courier, or you can send in a proxy to collect it for you.
Thank you so much for looking at this note. Please call Annie or Correna at (403) 457-3020 regarding any questions or suggestions that you might have.
