What we got Wednesday – Feb. 3, 2016

We got some beautiful hand carved shawl sticks from “Nature’s Wonders” in Ontario. They are available in a variety of shapes and shades, some featuring wonderful metal accents and they will complement any shawl or scarf.

We have some new yarn from Lang!

Jawoll Magic Dégradé is a fingering weight, self striping yarn. It comes in 400m/100gram balls. If you’re thinking of some socks for your February KAL project, this could be for you.

We have gotten a re-stock of Baby Bunting, and Cascade 220 Sport Weight. Also more Cascade Pima Cotton, and if you are making “knockers,” we now have some white and lighter colours. There is also more Cascade Heritage Wave! If you missed out on the purple colourway last time, we have some more!

Book club will be on Feb. 23rd, at 6:30 pm. This month’s book is Janet Evanovich’s Tricky Twenty-Two. Please call the store at (403)457-3020 to reserve your spot, the cost is $10.

Our resident Loopie and Master Merchandiser, Clair, is off for a while. For now, you can see one of MAC on Saturdays helping out Amber. On Sundays, Amber will be holding down the fort.
