We have new Noro! We received some Kureyon Air, in all the colours, naturally. Kureyon Air is a super bulky version of Noro’s Kureyon yarn. It comes in 100 gram/100 metre (109 yard) skeins. It’s perfect for chunky hats, mittens etc!
Next up, Noro Rainbow Roll!
Rainbow Roll is a 100 gram/269 metre (294 yard) ‘roll’ of pencil roving in an amazing variety of colours. You can use it to knit, crochet, weave needle felt, or spin it before doing all of those! Correna is currently working on a Rainbow Roll project, and we are excited to see what she does with it!
We have just a few of the Basketweave Cowl Kits left in stock. Michelle Macleod’s pattern is a great way to show off the Manos del Uruguay Gloria yarn provided, and the kit also contains a special stitch marker made by Loopie Clair’s Purple Gecko Studio, as well as some other goodies. This is a limited edition kit for 2015, so when they’re gone, they’re gone!
Finally, our friends in the Tea Party Knitting Club at Annie Gale School (the folks responsible for the majority of the knitted people living in our store) are in need of some needles. There are about 60 kiddies in the knitting club, and they are running low on pointy sticks. They really need sizes from 3.5mm to 6mm, and are happy with straight or circular needles. The club is also happy to take any yarn that needs a new home! Thank you for your help!
