Time for Nelson and the stampede horse to head back to school

We have been so very blessed these last few months while Nelson Mandala, the baboon, and the stampede horse came to visit from the Annie Gale school.  Come September they’ll be heading back to their classroom for another fun year with a new batch of students.  We are often asked if the artist who is responsible for all of our knitted artwork gives classes, or has patterns…   Unfortunately the answer to these questions is no.  Natalie is a gifted school teacher and artist who knits figures for the pure joy of it.  If you are lucky enough to be one of Natalie’s students, then you are one of the only people on the planet who is invited into Natalie’s secret realm.

You will see quite a bit of Natalie’s work at the store.  In fact, Gandhi has become the face of The Loop.  He is truly loved!

If you have yarn or needles to donate the the Annie Gale School, please feel free to drop items off at The Loop any time.
